So the other day…
I made this terrific frosting. It started with the basic Domino buttercream frosting. I wanted peanut butter frosting so I took Reese’s peanut butter chips and put them in a pot to melt them, I added in dark karo syrup to smooth it out and half a cup of skim milk to thin it out and then slowly added it to the buttercream frosting. It was suuuuuper sweet, but put with devils food cake, it was fantastic! I made a triple layer devils food cake with peanut butter frosting.
Unfortunately, I got impatient and never let one of the cakes cool first so it all fell apart and the frosting melted… I should’ve put ice cream on top! That would have been delicious. :D Oh well, next time?
